Even before the Saul Beach in Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte in the Philippines was listed among the 25 Most Beautiful Beaches in the World by the New York-based travel magazine, this has been one of the favorite summer escapades among tourists and residents because of its pristine waters, refreshing breeze, and white sand.

“If you’re searching for Southeast Asian beach bliss, super-mellow Saud Beach on the island of Luzon is a sure thing,” described the Travel + Leisure magazine.

The beautiful beach is also called the “Boracay of the North” as it possesses similarities to the top beach destination in the country located in the Province of Aklan.

“Its white sand pitches gradually into the clear-as-glass water, like a real-world example of a zero-entry swimming pool,” the travel magazine noted.
Being the only Philippine destination that made it to the list of the US magazine, Saud Beach deserves a spot in your travel goals.
